The Rifugio Degli Artisti Rome is a refuge not only for artists but for all visitors to the Eternal City who wish to see its ancient wonders but be able to retreat to comfortable and welcoming accommodation after a hard days sightseeing.

Completely renovated incorporating the original stonework from the Roman walls and leaving them exposed for viewing, Il Rifugio Degli Artisti oozes history and character.  Spacious and well lit, the five rooms were previously studios for artists with two measuring 13 square metres and the remaining three measuring 20 square meters.  Barrel Vaulted ceilings with skylights above and terracotta tiles below in conjunction with hand crafted furniture and Italian antiques give the rooms a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. 

Each room even comes with a fixed or portable easel for painting or sketching and uniquely, the accommodation also offers painting and photography courses with professionals who have artistic links with the property!

Great Service

Our highly trained and multi-lingual staff are on hand 24 hrs per day to assist guests in whatever way they can.  Check in is from 2pm until 6:30pm whereas check out is to be made before 11 am.  We offer a concierge service, and an airport shuttle service (surcharge applies) in addition to being able to help with tourist information, making bookings of restaurants and tickets and answering any questions you may have.
